2007 Small Business Fly-In Days

Join the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (EPHCC) on its annual marketing
trip to the Texas State Capitol on February 26 through March 1, 2007. The
Chamber will meet with State Agencies and Legislators in Austin to advocate for
the El Paso small, minority and women-owned business community and the market
we serve.
As your advocate for small business success we invite you to join us for three
(3) days of high energy and action driven meetings as we continue to market the
many services our small businesses provide. Join us to voice your concerns,
make your connection, and expose your company at a state level with our key
officials. Lend your support and help us bring more opportunities to the El
Paso small business community.
The Chamber usually sets appointments with the following organizations and

Biennially the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of
Commerce (TAMACC), conducts a Biennial Legislative Leadership Awards and Gala
in honor of the Senate Hispanic Caucus and the Mexican American Legislative
Caucus of the Texas State Legislature. At the Gala TAMACC also recognizes
local, state and federal legislators for their outstanding leadership,
legislative advocacy, and community involvement.
The Legislative Leadership Awards & Gala is an event designed to allow
TAMACC members and supporters of the Hispanic business community in Texas to
gather at the state Capitol to discuss the salient issues that will impact the
Texas Hispanic community that consists of seven million people.
After a full day of Legislative activity, TAMACC will host a gala to recognize
members of the Texas House of Representatives Mexican American Legislative
Caucus and the Texas Senate HispanicCaucus for their support of the Hispanic
business community in Texas. Representatives from all of our twenty-seven
Hispanic chambers from across the state of Texas will be participating in this
event.
This year's Seventh Biennial Legislative Leadership Awards & Gala will be
held on the evening of February 27, 2007, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel-Town Lake
in Austin. The event begins with a reception beginning at 6:00 p.m. and dinner
following at 7:00 p.m.
